11月25日 looking backmost of my blog entries have been looking forward to things so i thought i'd write one looking back...
i've just returned a day early from SU schoolies (an awesome week on the sunshine coast) to attend my very own sister's wedding practise for one of the biggest days of her life, tomorrow. lol... i am very tired but i still found amusement and enjoyment out of standing out in the pouring rain practising where we were to be standing and how we were to walk down the aisle. but anyway, about looking back: schoolies was awesome, we did so many great things - praised our Maker, listened to great speakers, hit the beach, went tubing behind a boat, listened to bands, danced til we got stitches, watched a midnight movie every night, played basketball, soccer, volleyball and frisbee, went on a boat cruise, sang karaoke, laughed at other people singing karaoke, shopped at noosa (with all sorts of discounts), rode in trolleys we found in the bush, rode a mechanical bull, beat each other up in a blown up gladiator arena, jumped in blown up castles, danced to a DJ, got free food, shot lasers at each other in zone 3, went to the movies, and all sorts of other cool things. they were just some of the options - others included blading, wakeboarding, skiing, watersliding, skirmish, karting, scuba and seal swimming and horse riding. just the week before schoolies we had our formal which was fantastic - everyone looked beautiful and had the best time. i got to come on my camel (his name is pepsi) after all, at quite a fair price, and everything worked out great on the night. God has blessed this time of my life so much and i am so grateful for that :D get into God cause He's got awesome plans for you later 10月25日 makes you wonderspeech night: wednesday night 26th Oct

hang on a second, Christmas already? this is all in a matter of two months and it will be on top of me before i know it. woohoo. excitement, nervousness, happiness, sad thoughts all rolled into one. the next coupla months will be full of 'last times' and 'first times' of doing things. why the title 'makes you wonder'? not sure... it's what came when i thought. i do that sometimes. ok a lot.
To all my senior friends, i hope you make every first and last moment your best, and always fill your lives with great people and experiences. to everyone else make sure you have fun as well 9月7日 the final countdownthats a fun song to play. but i'm not referring to the song itself ofcourse. you know how you seem to be always counting down to something... well this is the final countdown... for school anyway. and i know, i know, there'll be plenty of many other things to countdown to in the years to come, but after counting down to the last day of school for twelve years, it's gonna be different. anyway. to the point. what is my point? i know i had one. isn't life a funny one. always anticipating something, or analysing something, regretting something... loving something. sometimes you wish you could go back to the way things were a while ago... but then you'd rather not go back, cause look how far you've come. i am glad that not one situation is wasted though. if you go about with the right outlook, you can get something out of everything. i know i'm rattling on with random points, but they're all linked in one way or another.
by the way, thankyou for leaving comments, i do read them and all, and it's always super cool to have someone reply :) have a fantastic holiday! <forty days to go> 8月7日 Appreciationhow fantastic is life? i know there are things that can get me down sometimes, but it never lasts long, and then it's back to appreciating the things that make life so enjoyable... how awesome are the stars at night? the way the sun lights up places differently at different times of the day? there's art everywhere. and music, i love music, thankyou to everyone who makes art and music, it is so good and important. there are so many things to be grateful for, and i'm glad they have been on my mind. there are people, who are kind, who make a point to make life better for others. they can empathise with both sides of the story, yet they won't compromise what they know is true and important. i want to be more like that - thankyou to the people who live this way. you know the emails 'appreciating the little things'. they're true... the little things are those that make life great, they make up the big things. thank God he paid attention to detail! 7月16日 OverloadThere's so much to do this year, what with getting my licence in the next couple of months; QCS next month; organising my life today; going to su sunny coast schoolies after school; being a bridesmaid at my sister's wedding and ofcourse making decisions as to what to do with the rest of my life (that's in short). And this time next year I have no idea where I'll be or what I'll be doing. It's gonna be God who gets me through. It's interesting thinking how much has to happen, especially when it feels at times like nothing's happening. |
